Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that Augustus has collected, including data obtained through connected social accounts. We take data deletion seriously and will process all valid requests promptly.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Augustus data in two ways:

Email us directly

Send a deletion request to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your Augustus account and, if applicable, the social platform account(s) you want data removed for. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Delete your account from the dashboard

Log in to your Augustus account at app.runaugustus.com, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will immediately revoke all platform integrations, delete your connected social platform tokens, and queue full account data deletion within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

Upon a valid deletion request, we will delete the following within 30 days:

Your Augustus account credentials and profile information.
All OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for connected social platform accounts.
Social platform identifiers stored in our systems.
Content you uploaded to the Augustus platform (videos, images, persona data).
Platform publishing history and media IDs associated with your account.
Chatbot interaction logs and AI usage records linked to your account.

Note: We may be legally required to retain certain financial records (e.g., billing history, transaction logs) for up to 5 years per applicable law, even after a deletion request. These records do not include social platform tokens or content.

Connected Social Accounts

If you connected a social account to Augustus and want to remove the associated data, you can:

Follow the steps above to request deletion from us (Option 1 or 2).
Revoke Augustus through the social platform's connected-app or authorized-app settings.

When you revoke access or submit a deletion request, we will delete associated tokens, account identifiers, and publishing history within 30 days.

Confirmation

Once your data has been deleted, we will send a confirmation email to the address associated with your Augustus account. If you submitted a deletion request and have not received confirmation within 35 days, please follow up at [email protected].
