2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account & Billing Information

• Name, email address, and password when you register an account.
• Billing information (credit/debit card details, billing address) collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

2.2 Usage & Platform Data

• AI credit consumption records: timestamp, feature used, credits deducted.
• Chatbot interaction logs: message metadata, conversation IDs, response outcomes. These logs are retained for service provision, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.
• Content you upload or provide (persona details, images, videos) processed solely to deliver the Service.
• Platform analytics: pages visited, features accessed, session duration, device/browser type, IP address.

2.3 Communications

• Emails or messages you send to our support team.
• Records of any coaching or onboarding sessions you attend.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Service delivery — to provide, operate, and maintain the Augustus platform.
• Billing & payments — to process subscription charges and manage renewals.
• Usage tracking — to accurately record AI credit consumption and chatbot usage for billing integrity and dispute resolution.
• Fraud prevention & legal compliance — to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, and abuse, including submission of usage logs in financial dispute proceedings.
• Customer support — to respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
• Product improvement — to analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns. We do not use your specific content to train AI models.
• Legal obligations — to comply with applicable laws, court orders, and regulatory requirements.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• AI model providers — your content inputs are processed by third-party AI APIs (e.g., image/video generation services) solely to generate your requested outputs. We select providers who maintain appropriate data protections.
• Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, database, and CDN services under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal & regulatory authorities — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect Company's legal rights, including in chargeback and fraud disputes.
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Social Platform Integrations

Augustus integrates with third-party social media platforms to enable content publishing and account management. When you connect a social account, we may:

• Publish images and videos to the accounts you connect.
• Read basic profile information needed to display the account in the dashboard.
• Access publishing status and performance information on your behalf.

Data we collect through social platform integrations:

• OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to act on your behalf. These are encrypted at rest and never shared with third parties.
• Account identifiers and user IDs necessary to provide connected features.
• Publishing status and media identifiers returned after content is posted.

How we use connected-platform data: Solely to provide the features you enable. We do not sell this data, transfer it to data brokers, use it for advertising targeting, or build profiles beyond service delivery. Infrastructure subprocessors may process it only as necessary to operate the Service and under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Revoking access: You can disconnect a social account from Augustus or revoke access through that platform's connected-app settings. Upon revocation, we will stop acting on your behalf and delete the associated access tokens within 30 days.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription and for a period of 5 years after account closure to comply with financial recordkeeping obligations and to defend against potential legal claims. Usage logs (credit consumption, chatbot interactions) are retained for a minimum of 3 years. Social platform access tokens are deleted within 30 days of account disconnection or account closure. You may request deletion of your personal data subject to the exceptions below.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. Note that we may be legally required to retain certain data (e.g., transaction records) even after a deletion request. 8. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies required for the Service to function (e.g., authentication sessions) and analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Service functionality.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. Social platform OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We take reasonable steps to ensure adequate data protection in all jurisdictions where your data is processed.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on the Site at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
